Dear friends of Sylvan!
Now it's finally official. We completed our lineup with the new
guitarist
Jan Petersen who will be an official band member from now on and fill
the
vacancy Kay Söhl left this summer. Some of you might already know Jan
Petersen from his former band Sophistree, and also from Matthias
Harder's
Solo Project "Rain for a Day" where he played some of the guitars. His
first
gig was on the 1st of september for the big "Posthumous Silence Show",
where
he played some guitar-parts together with Guido Bungestock. Jan and
Guido
both helped Sylvan out, after Kay Söhl had decided not to play the show
at
short notice.
At the moment we are working at full capacity for the completion of the
Live-DVD, recorded at the 1st of september 2007. The ultimate ambition
is to
finish the DVD until end of february and to release it in may 2008. So
keep
your fingers crossed for that!!!
Finally we have to announce our first four gigs in 2008:
March 13th 2008 - Piekary Slaskie (Poland) - Osrodek Kultury
"Andaluzja"
March 14th 2008 - Warszawa (Poland) - Progresja
March 15th 2008 - Poznan (Poland) - 2nd Art-Rock-Festival (support
Flamborough Head)
March 16th 2008 - Bydgoszcz (Poland) - Kuznia
